Madrid is the capital City of Spain and have a great artistic heritage. Madrid is hot in summer and cold in winter. In springs and autumns, Madrid experiences a temperate climate. Madrid Sights Museums
Prado Museum, the most popular Golden Triangle of Art member known for such highlights as Diego Velázquez's Las Meninas and Francisco de Goya's La Maja Vestida and La Maja Desnuda.

Veranos de la Villa (Village Summer Festivals): this festival, during the first week of August, is made up of a series of cultural events including photo and art exhibitions, operas, concerts and theatrical performances around Plaza España.
Verbena de la Paloma: from August 6 to 15 in the La Latina area of the city. The festival is based on some best popular traditions, dances with folkloric costumes. The last evening you ll enjoy a spectacular firework show.
Semana Santa: during Holy Week many church services and impressive processions take place in Madrid. Thursday to Sunday are official holidays, when you find locals parade around the streets of Madrid, carrying religious statues, particularly of Jesus and the Virgin Mary. Those seeking penitence can often be seen wearing long robes.
Carnaval: On the last day of Carnival, Ash Wednesday the tradicional "Entierro de la Sardina" (The Burial of the sardine) is held on Paseo de la Florida. This marks the beginning of Lent in Madrid.
Jazz Festival: Madrid’s festival of Jazz is held in late October-November and admission fees are very low, organized by "Club de Música y Jazz San Juan Evangelista“ since 1970 jazz greats such as Chick Corea and Dizzy Gillespie take part in this event!
New Year's Eve: on Madrid’s Puerta del Sol on New Year’s Eve to thousands of people watch the fireworks and at midnight the Spanish tradition is to eat one grape on every strike of the clock, making a wish per grape.
Festimad festival: Festimad is one of a big Rock event in Spain every Year, national and international stars of alternative rock music play in this festival, masses of people come and feeling good see playing our favourite bands like System of a down, Marylin Manson, for example. The festimad Start in 1995 like itinerant concerts there the unknown bands play into a bars and square near Madrid, year after year the Festimad take a place in a open air location in the actual great event with millions of participants.

Madrid Transports
Madrid Underground Serving the city's population of some six million, the Madrid Metro is one of the most extensive and fastest-growing metro networks in the world. With the addition of a loop serving suburbs to Madrid's south-west "Metrosur", it is now the second largest metro system in Western Europe, second only to London's Underground.
The province of Madrid is also served by an extensive commuter rail network called CercanĂas.
